How do you all carry your documents? I will have our birth certificates, our park tickets (pre cruise part of the trip) and our cruise documents. I usually carry a backpack, but would like to keep all those important papers in something secure. Any ideas? And thanks for all the help--I don't post much, but I do read the boards a lot!

I used to use a clear plastic pencil case but since I print most of my confirmations off the internet, I needed a 8 1/2 x 11 size. I found the perfect thing at Michael's. It is a clear plastic 8 1/2 x 11 file envelope that has a string that wraps around two buttons, one on the top flap and one on the bottom similar to closures on an expandable file folder. I found it with the scrapbook supplies. My DD laughs at me because I even have everything in order as to how we'll need it--airline confirmations, rental car, hotel reservation, etc. Its so easy to just pull it out of my carry on bag whenever I need it.

P.S. I forgot to add it was less than $3!

I have a ticket holder made by Eagle brand. You can get it at most luggage stores. It has a card holder in it that I put things like our DVC cards and Castaway club card in. a zippered pocket that I put our passports in, another zippered pocket that I put our tip money in, and a long pocket that holds folded 8 1/2 x 11 papers (airline e-tickets, etc). It has worked great for all 5 of our cruises!

I used an 'expandable wallet', that I got from Wal-Mart for roughly $4-$7 (I don't recall exactly). Here's a picture of a plastic one I found online at Office Max (see link below), mine is actually covered in a black canvas....I figured it would be a little nicer looking that the plastic or brown-paper ones. It has 12 pockets, I believe.....I have one for each day of the our vacation starting at the couple days at WDW prior to our cruise. I put all corresponding paperwork in that days tab (ex. Air, Car, Hotel in the first days tab........PHP passes and Q&C Voucher in the next days tab, so on and so forth). It's really kept everything organized up to this point, but I have not rec'd my documents yet.......and I haven't been on a cruise yet, so I'm not sure if my system works yet. So far, this is the best thing I've ever done to keep my organized in the planning stages though. Hope this helps!
