Dockside Diner-mobile order missing items

Hi! We are about to go to DW. I was looking at mobile app ordering for Dockside Diner as we are on the dining plan and wanted to see about milkshake flavors. I don’t see any milkshakes on the mobile app but do see them on Disney’s list of available items for Dockside Diner in a different area. Why wouldn’t they be in the mobile order? Thanks!

It’s not uncommon for mobile order menus to not have certain items that are available in person. Most often it’s certain limited time offerings but there doesn’t seem to be any real rhyme or reason to it. I always assume they just don’t want to get slammed for orders on certain things but who knows.

I think the milk shake would be 'hard' to guarantee its quality since restaurant would not be sure of your arrival.
It would need to be kept frozen . MAYBE the concern

I've noticed that also-that items that are available at the restaurant aren't in the Mobile Order menu. I've found that to be the case at Mara, Gasparilla Grille, Sanaa, and Olivia's to Go. And I have no doubt there are others. I've often asked the cashier, and they just shrug their shoulders and/or say they don't know.

Maybe.. but you can mobile order things like Dole Whips so I'm not sure that makes sense.
