I use white and off white sheets, so they always match. But, my kids' sheets don't always match.

I don't buy "bed in a bag" type things because the sheets are never nice enough for me. (I'm a bit of a sheet snob.:rolleyes1) So they don't match "exactly" but the ones I buy coordinate very well!

yeah, I'm compulsive. I bought the sheets that matched my duvet. . . .for my "winter" set and for my "summer" set!! My winter set is dark colors. . .purples and grays. My summer set is light greens . . . looks like sea glass.

Well, generally, we have duvets on the comforter, and a different duvet for every pair of sheets. For some reason, they're somewhat difficult to find, so we make our own by sewing together the flat sheet that comes in the sheet set with another flat sheet. We never use flat sheets anyway, so it works. So yes, I guess our sheets always match because we wash the duvet when we change the sheets and put on the new sheets. But it's not like we won't sleep on the sheets if they don't match. The other day, I took my duvet off and slept with just the comforter which is orange and pink (the sheets were aqua) because my friend was over and happened to get her monthly visitor on my duvet. Didn't bother me that my comforter didn't match my sheets, as long as I'm cozy, I'm happy.

Mine don't match- but then we don't make beds here either LOL- when the sheets become untucked from the foot we break down and make the bed, otherwise it gets made once a week when I change the sheets. The sheets don't even match actually because I buy a full fitted sheet and a queen flat sheet since I like it to have enough hanging over to tuck it in good.

I don't like matchy things, but the colors coordinate well. I also don't do printed sheets, except for my six year old.

Same here on both counts. I buy off-white sheets that have a tone on tone stripe so I know which way to put them on our king sized bed :rotfl:. I don't buy the sheet/comforter sets any more because the sheets are like sandpaper. I have a duvet cover and matching shams and then coordinating pillow cases so if and when I make my bed it does look nice.

The only thing that matches in my house is my bed. I have a warm comforter for winter and a quilt for summer. Both in colors I love. The same colors but very different styles. I have solid color sheets in different colors to match. White, deep blue, deep red, and then a floral that doesn't really match. I also have a couple blankets in animal prints that just feel wonderful and don't match anything.

Oh, and I have a crocheted blanket made my my ex's grandma. She would always make blankets for the grandkids and she asked me which one I wanted. I chose the one that was the scraps from all the others. I love it, it feels like a blanket made of love to me. It doesn't match anything at all.
