i was just wondering if i was alone...i spend quite a bit of time on vmk and my parents get so frustrated that i spend so much time on it. do your parents get mad at you sometimes?? please post!!

Well my mom couldn't care less, as she doesn't live with me. My dad enjoys VMK as much as me, so he'd let me stay up 'til closing any time! But most times I just get sleepy

Nope, no lights, tv, or computer, but I have my power back. Now they just say they are going to take my computer away.

My parents don't live with me, so only my mom even knows I play it. My husband gets irritated sometimes. He says "VMK is more important than me!". He's joking... I hope.

My daughter likes watching me play it, and I let her change my outfit sometimes. She's four.

they definately get mad at me. my mom doesnt even let me use the computer so i go on whenever she is at work and i tried to go on in my computer class but it doesnt work and my dad asks why im always playing this game.

I haven't actually "played" in a while. All I do nowadays is get on get my credits, play fireworks and get off.

My parents don't get mad, exactly. They kind of sigh and roll their eyes when I mention VMK. But I don't play as much as I used to. I pretty much go on, get my credits and whatever is new, and quit. My parents think I play much more than I do and when my report card came with all A's, they joke that it's because of VMK.

Where is the button for:

- The entire family just rolls their eyes and my son makes fun of me for playing because he wants me to stop playing so I won't be using any network bandwidth. That way his battle games won't lag.

OMG, I love your parents, that's my kind of punishment! A few years ago my daughter wouldn't stop slamming her bedroom door so we took it away. People thought it was strange but they agreed it did fix the problem. Most parents wished they had thought to do that but also seemed reluctant to take their kid's door off the hinges.

I've also been known to swipe the power cords to my kids' computers and video game sets as punishment.

Oh, if my kids acted bratty at Walt Disney World, their punishment was to ride Tower of Terror. If they apologized before getting to the loading area we would let them take the regular elevator down to where the pictures are displayed. Sometimes they didn't think to apologize and had to go on the ride.

Yes they do.... sadly... When ever i am on the computer.... I always get threats like i am going to shut off your wireless access and other stuff but it is not like i can't hack in and set it up again


but this is todays life, computers is todays life. It is not ok that i am on the computer when ever people are around, but it all right my cousins are tucked away in there rooms whenever people are round, that the part that makes me angry. Is it a crime, that i have fun talking and hanging out with people i don't know, then talking and hanging out in real life and i know (like kids at my school)? If only they knew

My parents don't mind, because they play too. We all play. Luckily we have four computers for all of us so we don't have to kill each other .

I don't spend excessive amounts of time of the computer, and I try to not go on too much on a nice day. My parents only get mad if they see us (my sister and I) on the computer when we have other things to do.
