I just went to Super Target for 30 minutes and by the time I left I felt like I had been through a war. I just went with my 5 year old and between the whining for things she wanted and repeating things constantly (this is a new thing...asking me a question then I answer...then she continues to ask over and over again if the answer is something she doesn't like. PLEASE tell me it isn't only my child) I was ready to cry. I hope this is a phase because I'm really starting to question my parenting techniques. Wherever we go, I feel like it is a constant struggle between us and I win as far as being consistent but it is sure wearing on me. I feel like I just don't even want to go anywhere anymore. I actually beat my head against a post in Target and saw another mom just chuckle so I guess it isn't only my child.

School starts in 5 months school starts in 5 months school starts in 5 months school starts in 5 months school starts in 5 months. ;) ;) ;)

{{{HUGS}}} sweetie, I remember those days very well :)

DS is okay. He's pretty calm...thank goodness! BUT I worked in his art class today with 35 kids for JUST 45 minutes. I left with a headache! How does his teacher do it all day long? Hmmm...I'm not so sure I want to be a teacher.

my DS is hyperactive. and he repeats everything at least 5 times. about then we are yelling to stop! LOL i hope this is just a phase. he drives me nuts sometimes. cant wait till we can go outside to play!

Yes..
Especially around the house when I chase them or run from them and play hide & seek...:o :jester:

Most definately!! I have 5 daycare children and 1 of my own (1 in school too). The daycare kids range from 8 months to 3 1/2. My DS just turned 3. I tell him all of the time, he is more work than 16 daycare kids could ever be.....day in and day out. He is such an active child and into everything and anywhere his imagination can take him. I'm exhausted by the middle of the day -- that's why I think naps are wasted on the people who really need them -- the adults who care of the kids.;)

Nope, your child isn't the only one, and yup, they wear me out. :teeth:
