Do your kids know your age?

I was just wondering if it is unusual that my DD's know DH and my age and birthday? DD12 would probably be able to come up with year too, but probably not DD7. Do your kids know this?

Had my youngest, (who was 7 at the time), convinced that I was 56 for about a year.

He knows...but he forgets all the time...he is always asking and I always answer.

My six-year-old knows I am forty. She is amazed I can still walk, I am sooooo old. The little one doesn't care.

My older ones know. DS6 thinks DH is 107 though.

My DD's know my age & Birthday. My husband does not. He also does not know how old he is.

My son knows within a year or two.. He forgot I just had a birthday.. I turned 34 but he says im 32 or 33

My kids have always known my age.

When I was growing up, my Mother never let anyone know her age. Every time we asked her it was always the same answer, "29". I didn't find out how old she was until shortly before she died - I saw it on her hospital chart. She always told us that was her one secret she kept from her children.

As adults, my siblings and I have always been honest about our age. I guess it's because it bugs us that we never knew our Mom's age when we were kids.

Oh yeah she knows my age and has the innate ability to shout it out in public . Somehow she can't ever remember DH's. She's also not great on remembering when our birthdays are. My age though - she's all over that .

I can't imagine keeping my age from my kids, but then I think back to my own mother who used that 29 and holding line forever, so honestly, I've no idea how old she was...

i knew my parents age since i was 8.
this is what my mom has me tell everyone.
for birthday she is turning 32 for the 6th time.

My DD was getting out of the car the other day at the bus stop. After the "I love yous" and "Have a good days" she pipes up with, "I'm sorry you're 40."

Older'n dirt. They don't care, they vacillate between "aw, mom, you're young and beautiful!" (when they want money) and "I dunno, I thought you were 50 or 60 or something".

For years my youngest thought I was 17. He had dh age right but I never aged.....

While in 4th grade last year, ds aged me another 22 yrs older. Now he knows I will soon turn 40 in March. I can't convince him otherwise.....

I've never hidden my age from anyone so yes my kids knwo and have known for a long time. Not sure what age they knew but if they asked me I told them the truth.

Age is just a number, no biggie to me.

DD7 has no idea My little brother turned 21 and she said.........wow...youre older than my mom
