During our trip in 2004, dd was almost 3, she got sick on the last 2 days of our vacation in DL. We got some medicine (tylenol & motrin) and took turns staying with her in the hotel while dh or i took ds back to the parks. We eventually went home via plane and took her to the doctor's the following day. She was diagnosed with walking pnuemonia.
We now make sure to pack all types of medicines for our trips and have purell or an antibacterial gel on hand at all times when on vacation. Ds loves touching everything. The last few trips we've even given the kids emergen-c daily (dh & i too), and not have had anyone getting sick.
