Every single bone in my body "cracks". I barely turn my head and my neck cracks like 5 times. People hear it and look at me in horror! I swear, I can't help it. My chiropractor says I'm "hypermobile", so I just crack. Am I the only weirdo?

I make my spine and neck crack when I feel uncomfortable. I also crack my fingers and sometimes my toes when they feel stiff. Yes I know all the tales about it leading to arthritis, I'm bound to suffer from it anyway.

I've also always been a knuckle cracker - since I was a kid. A bad habit, but so far, no arthritis. I think that may be an old wives tale.

The cracking is caused by a bubble in the sinovial fluid in the joint. Nothing to worry about.

Thanks for the info. :D

Sometimes they crack. My right ankle and my right wrist snap sometimes (they sound like rubber bands popping:teeth: ).

Mine bones crack sometimes, but I was *lucky* enough to inherit a 'clunk' from my grandmother! My right hip joint goes berzerk every once in a while and starts clunking when I walk! It's so embarassing because other people can hear it!:o My Mom doesn't have it, but my grandma did. Gee, thanks.

Both knees, both elbows (hyper-extended both of them), one shoulder (dislocated once, currently nursing torn rotator cuff), both wrists and of course the standard back and neck cracking. Too many years of ice hockey and football coupled with a new found liking for martial arts.

My right hip cracks when I get up in the morning. Its a B***** getting OLD!

I too am a constant knuckle-cracker. In addition, my shoulder constantly cracks (no thanks to a bone spur sitting on my rotator cuff ), as do both of my knees and occasionally my ankle. Ugh!

There are days I sound like a bowl of Rice Crispys: neck, knees, fingers and just about anything else that moves.

I crack all the time, and my son gets the giggles out of it! ;) And the newest one is my neck. The first I noticed it was when I was taking my algebra final last semester. It's cracking ever since when I turn my head to the left. All my joints crack, that's nothing new.
