Do you Wrap

Do you wrap you presents for your children?

I usually do but on some birthdays I don't have time and just give the presents.

Yes, definitely. Always wrap presents to all. Sometimes our family's been known to use the funnies to wrap with to save a few $'s but nothing beats that pile of wrapped presents on your birthday!

Yes, I wrap all of the gifts except the one from Santa. That one is opened, set up, and ready for play when DD wakes up Christmas morning.

Last year she played with her kitchen for over an hour before she wanted to unwrap any other presents.

So will you be setting up the Dora House for her--or is she getting another biggie Maybe wrap up the furniture???


We've always wrapped presents--but if one year we get something that is just phsyically huge--then we'll set it up--but perhaps somehow camaflouge it.

Goodness, yes- everything gets wrapped. And most of it gets huge handmade bows, too!

We will set the whole thing up. We wrap all of the presents from DH and I. I am considering having her Dora Doll and clothes be from Santa also. If I decide to do that I will wrap it in wrapping paper with Santa on it. The rest gets snowman paper.

I wrap for everything. When I was a kid, we never got wrapped presents from "Santa", but DH's presents from Santa were wrapped and we are continuing that tradition.

I don't use bows, usually though (except Christmas). I never have them when I need them.

I work in Customer Service/Gift Wrap at a dept. store. I wrap presents everyday! I LOVE to wrap presents. Every present I give is "professionally" wrapped with handmade bows and hidden tape. The family kind of expects it now.

We don't wrap the presents from Santa and we don't even put name tags on them. That really cuts down on our three daughters fighting over gifts. I tell them that Santa put them there so they will all share them. So far, it's worked pretty well.

Oh yes...everything gets wrapped...even the stocking stuff!! Everything under the tree is from Santa except one gift that is from me.....I like Santa getting all the credit for the gifts, I don't need it LOL....she will know soon enough who really buys them all! I hate just waking up to a bunch of unwrapped gifts under the tree...I like them all wrapped up, even the adults gifts!

For Christmas, I always wrap, badly. For birthdays and other gifts, I use a lot of gift bags.

I wrap everything that goes under/near the tree. I don't wrap the stocking stuffers. We put together anything that needs to be and then wrap it up, plus we put batteries in anything that needs them before we wrap it. We don't like to spend Christmas morning doing all that, we just want to play!
