The girl died....when they took the pole out, one of them would die from internal bleeding because they would bleed to fast and the girls injuries were more extensive than the mans injuries. It was very sad....I just watched it last night. I LOVE THIS SHOW. LOVE LOVE LOVE Mr. McDreamy!!!

I love this show! They pulled the young woman off of the pole becasue she had a very slim chance of making it through and they wanted to give the man a better chance. She was okay with it. She knew she wouldn't live through it, but she wanted the man to live. After they pulled her off, they tried to save her but couldn't. The man lived. It was sad .
