Do you wash a new tablecloth and napkins before using them?

I WASH NOTHING BEFORE USE....I LIKE THE NEW SMELL, AND THE CRISPNESS RIGHT OUT OF THE PKG....

sorry for the shout!!

I wash them first. Gotta get all those creases out somehow, and I'm allergic to ironing! :teeth:

Yes. Are you preparing for a special night with your g/f Jason? How did she like the flowers that you sent to her?

mommytotwo,

She loved them and apprently the white roses just opened up today and she said that it's almost like a completely different arrangement now. So I got two for one.

Yes she is coming over for dinner and a movie on Saturday in which I am cooking her dinner. I'm doing the whole bit. The tablecloth, linen napkins, candles, good china, crystal glasses, etc.

How romantic. Sounds like you have a very special relationship with your g/f. Have a nice evening together.

mommytotwo,

Yes we do. From the first time we e-mailed and chatted we just clicked and it felt like we had known each other for years. She means the world to me as I do to her. The funny thing is that today she told me that three of her friends now want to double date with us without even seeing me first. I guess she most have told them something great for them to ask to do that.

Just hearing all the kinds words you say about her, the things that you are doing for her, I'm sure she is saying nice things about you to her friends and co-workers. :thumbsup2

I would wash the tablecoth & especially the napkins.

My Mom used to be a seamstress (for clothes) & I'd see how those fabrics would be tossed around & sometimes dragged on the floor, it's pretty yucky what that fabric could have gone through. Fabric sits on bolts in warehouses where there could be critters. Then there are people who use the restroom & do not wash their hands & then go back to sewing :scared: :crazy2: ...(made you lose your appetite, huh?)

I'd wash it.

Have a wonderful dinner! ;)

Definitely wash them. :) Be sure to keep and eye on the dryer and take them out promptly and lay flat on your table, doing so should prevent use of that dreadful device commonly known as an iron! :thumbsup2

Good Luck Jason! Hope the evening is wonderful! Don't forget the romantic music. :)

Thanks everyone. I'm taking break from cleaning and all I have left to do is mop the bathroom, vacume and clean the kitchen and vacume the living room.
