Do you use the Official DVC site?

As everyone probably knows, DVC maintains an official DVC site, including a members only area.

For DVC members only. Non-members, please don't vote.

How often do you actually look at the DVC members only site?

If you haven't been there, you can click on the link below. If you want to go to the members only pages, you need to use the name and password that came with your membership. (Note, before non members ask for it, please respect that rules of this board prohibit anyone giving out password information.)

I check it only infrequently. It is really not a good site. I have learned more on this site than anywhere else and until the DVC member site allows for more interaction, it will remain mediocre.

We had been exploring buying at VWL for a while. If it wasn't for this site, all of my info would have been from our guide. Instead I was educated and informed because of all of the people who contribute here. The official site did not help me at all. Thanks to everyone

hi: i voted for the once or twice a month. this way i can actually read the vacation magic before everything in it has already happened. mine is always very late arriving in the mail. they really do need to make the site a bit more interactive.

The DVC members only sight is not very good. It could be done much better. I guess they really don't have anyone in-charge of it. I see that early this spring 2001 they will be opening a message board for members. I don't see many people going there when they have a very good source of information right here on the DIS!!

I mainly use the site for the points calculator, or to look up points when I'm at work and don't have the charts. I also check it a month or two before a trip to see what specials there might be. I would be nice if they had an online account access system so you could see your balance, do banking, whatever.

The official site only seems good to check the non DVC options and to get information links about these non DVC resorts. I use it very infrequently. I wish they would allow secure access to view your point accounts. Just my thoughts.
