Do you use HotWire or Priceline? I use Hotwire a lot and have never been disappointed.

I was just clicking my way through the Budget Forum and came across a link for http://www.betterbidding.com

I found it very helpful. All kinds of great info to help you get what you want at the price you want.

I'm all for saving $$ on rooms.

Have your experiences been as good?

I have used both Priceline and Hotwire and have never been disappointed.

We use Priceline a lot for hotels all over the place. We have done Disney trips as well as weekend trips with Priceline and if you do enough research (biddingfortravel.com and betterbidding.com), you can get some GREAT deals.

This past December was the first time I used Hotwire and was happy with them too...for Hotels. We went to Orlando and we stayed at the Royal Pacific for 2 nights and the Sheraton Suites at MCO for one. Both Great deals.

I have only used Priceline for air - and that was sort of by accident. I had been toying with taking a trip to Florida with a friend and I had been bidding pretty low for weeks and one day it was accepted! We got great flight times! I did say when bidding that 2 layovers were OK so, of course, the trip home on a Sunday had a 2 stops...but, as time got closer, our return schedule was changed and we ended up with only 1 layover,...which we always have to have as we are very rural and have little turbo props that bring us in and out.

Overall, If you are not completely set firm on a certain hotel or flight times, I think you cannot go wrong using Priceline or Hotwire if you do a little research first.
