Do you use EMH at night?

We don't much but now that DDs are getting older and we have free park hoppers this year, they might take advantage of the EMH's.

The day we arrive, MK is evening EMH. We won't get in until after munch and have an ADR at Crystal Palace. I was really excited to be in the park until 2am until I realized I planned our AK day (the next day) for early morning EMH:worried:

When I go with the family, evening EMH are the only ones they will do. Sometimes they are quiet, sometimes they are busy but for my family with teens who won't get out of bed until noon, it's about the only way to get everything we want done.

When I go solo, I do morning and evening EMH. I figure I can sleep when I'm home. LOL

EMH (pm) at MK is the BEST! Most rides are open and have very minimal (if any) wait. Even our littles DD (4) and DD (7) hang in there and enjoy MK at this time more than any other time. PM EMH is far better than any AM EMH IMO, but we always tour in the off-season so take it for what you will. Enjoy!

We do, especially the MK ones. I love the 2am closing, although we do try and schedule something light for the next morning- resort morning, late entry into another park or a later breakfast. With the popularity of SDMT and A&E, the emh's at the MK are great for riding almost everything else!

My favorite thing to do is AK or MK in the morning, take an extended break in the afternoon. Then head to Epcot to use FP+, dinner and Illuminations then pop over to the MK just in time for EMH's to begin. It's a tiring day, but it's the best time ever!

Evening EMH's can be great at MK because there are so many rides and the evening EMH there tends to have late hours so many families with young kids leave. We've had less luck at Epcot and HS - a lot fewer rides so even if not as crowded there is still a long wait for rides. We AVOID the evening EMH parks during the day though as they do tend to be more crowded and will usually arrive around 6PM or later depending on late we plan on staying at the park.

We have never made a rope drop...but would not trade evening EMH! We love them and as we look back on previous trips...I would say our favorite, fondest memories were when we were in the parks late at night. Enjoying all those rides with hardly a wait time...can't beat it.

We've never done RP except for SWW. We've always get to the parks after 11am or so. We've eventually hop to the park that has eve EMH after 5-6pm. At the time, the younger crowd goes to dinner and usually don't come back.

Now, on the first year that MBs went into effect, I noticed a huge decrease in the number of people at rides. Lots of folks in the park, but I think they were all off-site. In the past, anyone with a friends or old KTTW could easily get on a ride. Not anymore with MBs since they have to be scanned and show green.

Do miss the 3rd hour of eve EMH
