Do you use a fanny pack?

We have always done fanny packs. Once we got past the stroller and baby bag age. My kids use them. They take their disposable camera, little snacks, and hand wipes and a couple of bandaids in them. I carry one also, my DH wouldn't be caught dead with one on though! I would rather have my hands free and don't care what I look like as long as I'm comfy. My kids also know that I'm not a pack mule and won't carry all their stuff.

Now that the kiddos are older, I leave the bag behind. Cargo shorts are the way to go in my book-and I haven't had to do the bag search thing. I am also checking out this: http://pac-safe.com/www/index.php?_room=3&_action=detail&id=110 (pac safe wrist safe) to hold my cell phone, $, and id. I might be able to squeeze in a small camera. Has anyone used one yet?

I have a funny story about this topic. My DH uses one every time we go to Disney, he doesn't care. Until, I framed and hung a picture of the family infront of the castle, and he, of course was wearing the fanny pack. He is a high school teacher and coach. He had the girls team over for a dinner with us one day, and they, the high school girls, were all laughing at the picture. I must admit, I was funny looking We will see if he wears it in April when we go back!
