I love giraffe's...could sit and watch them alll day...so I usually go to the zoo, and a couple of times I have been lucky to take a couple of my kids to AKL for a stay.

Then at night it's dinner out at my youngest DS's choosing, he has verry good taste in restaurants so we all love where he picks!

Happy Birthday Tina, your day/night sound wonderful to me!

I only work 3 days a week so if my birthday falls on one of those days I won't take it off. My family usually will make sure something special happens, even if it's just a special Chinese dinner with doughnuts for dessert! (Don't much like cake, so it's always been doughnuts!)

And I know this sounds goofy but if I'm off on my birthday I try to plan to donate blood that day. Don't know how that started but that's what I do for me.

My company gives your birthday off with pay (Doesn't come out of personal days, either!) Not really a treat to myself, except that I get to relax at home by myself!

Happy Birthday! Usually, I'm just happy if the family can spend time together. My dh tends to fix dinner on my birthday, and sometimes he'll pick up a cake. I honestly wouldn't mind fixing my own dinner and cake, though! I do love what he does for me though!

It is only me and DH. Many years ago I decided that I would not work on my birthday. So I take a vacation day. In recent years we have decided to take a few days off and go to Atlantic City. We do it for both of our birthdays.
