Do you think that since our June 5th - 11th WDW trip is "technically" for my g/f's birthday that they would still giver her the B-Day pin even though her birthday wass actually April 4th?

Also, know any other good tips for places that do something special for a birthday?

They will not ask for proof of birthday when you ask for a pin. If this is her "birthday trip," then you can certainly get her a birthday pin. However, make sure that SHE won't feel odd about having people consistently wishing her "Happy Birthday" all day, when it's actually two months past. Sometimes that can be a little weird.

We are going June 19-26, and the 22nd is my DD and SIL anniversary and my SIL birthday on the 23rd, however, one of my GD will have had her birthday on June 11, but this is her birthday trip - I was concerned that June 11 would be too far removed, but was still hopeful, I am more so now that someone is considering it for an April birthday....thanks!

I was wondering this, too. As I was thinking about this year, DH and I had our 15th wedding anniversary, we both turn 40 this year (DH's birthday is just a couple days after we get back from WDW), the twins turned 10 this year and DS will turn 13 this year. These are a lot of milestone kind of dates. I was thinking about getting the kids' birthday buttons and having them wear them on different days, at least.

They don't check for accuracy of the birthdate. My children all have birthdays in June and July, but I am only going to stretch the littlest one's birthday 2 weeks in order to get her a birthday pin. We sort of use the rule of thumb that if the birthday is within weeks of the vacation, we'll celebrate. Otherwise we don't.

Just know that there are no rules against that, and no proof required of an actual date. If anyone asks her if TODAY is her birthday, she can simply respond that this is the day she is celebrating it. Nobody needs to ask more than that!

Just ask for a pin at city hall and watch the magic happen. Do a character dining and let them know it is her birthday too. At cindy's breakie it was the my dd's b-day and they put mickey mouse confetti and then bought her a cupcake and a certificate . Pop century sent her up balloons and a card from cinderella and a sorta polly pocket cinderella carriage set . At fantasmic the cm got a whole group of ppl to sing to happy birthday.
It was great just know there a alot of ppl wearing happy birthday pins at the events and shows . ONe little girl was serenaded at the beauty and the beast show at mgm on her birthday.
Have fun !

:sunny: Hi

I celebrated my birthday at WDW last year and had the best time. My birthday present was a trip with www.warbirdadventures.com , in a 1945 harvard plane. I got to have a go at aerobatics too. I can't tell you how much fun it was. Next we had lunch at 50's PT and was given a cupcake and sang to. Our evening was the spent at CG. We arrived in time to watch wishes from the balcony and were then seated next to the window overlooking the lagoon and MK. We ended our night at PI. Very tiring but just perfect. :goodvibes

Hope your girlfriend has a good time, no one will know its not the real day if you are enjoying yourselves

Just thought, something a little less adventurous but great fun is the Segway tour at EPCOT. You could follow with a nice lunch, we followed our tour with lunch at Marrakesh. :goodvibes

Enjoy

If you're celebrating the birthday during the trip then CELEBRATE!!! Get the pin and have a great time.
