ETA: Staying at POFQ and it will be me, DH, DD almost 3 and DS 4 1/2. 11/8 - 11/13
The way our plans worked out, we have reservations as follows...

Tuesday - Arrival Day
Chef Mickey's @ 5:00

Wednesday - MK/Epcot
Crystal Palace @ 8:05
Akershus @ 5:00

Thursday - AK
Tusker House @ 8:00
Sanaa @ 5:00

Friday - DHS/Nap/MVMCP
No reservations

Saturday - Late start due to late night - thinking Epcot and if Osborne Lights are up, heading there to end the night
No reservations

Sunday - Departure Day
T-Rex - 11:30

So my question is this...We have all of our TS meals crammed into the first 3 days. Do you think that is too much? I like the idea of having mroe freedom for the other two nights since we will be working around a nap and a late night etc. but just want to see if you all think the first 3 days are too TS heavy. Any thoughts appreciated!

Personally, I think having 2 TS per day is fine.

We usually dine at 2 TS restaurants each day - usually it's a TS breakfast, a snack in midday and a TS dinner. If we want a TS lunch, we would have a small breakfast (bagel, cereal etc), early TS lunch and TS dinner. We don't feel like it's too much food, but then again, we usually order only entrees and appetizer OR dessert - rarely do we order 3 courses. It does have a lot to do with the fact that we don't like CS food, so we do end up spending a lot of time at the restaurants, but we're fine with that. :goodvibes

However, if you want to dine quickly and spend most of your time on the rides or shows, you may not like to take the time for 2 TS. For us, the TS restaurants are a major part of our vacation, so we take the time to enjoy it.

Are you planning to go back to your resort for a nap/break? The only day I question is your AK day. You have 2 meals at the AK area which means you are going to put in a full day there.

After over 20 vacations to WDW we now only do 1 TS per day. We find that having 2 on a day takes too much planning/time management than we like to deal with on vacation.

No, that is not our plan on the AK day. We are hoping the kids rest/nap in the stroller on our full days. The only day we plan on going back is when we have MVMCP because it is a late night. Knowing our kids (especially DS) and from our experience the last time we were there (Aug 2009) leaving the park is a disaster for us. DS threw a huge tantrum, couldn't settle down enough to rest once we were there, and the whole thing turned into a battle. So again, just hoping they will nap in the stroller and then will be okay for the dinner. We will head home right after and call it a night.

I think the 2 TS per day are spread out enough to be very doable. Sounds like a good plan.

I agree with the break in the middle thing, BTW. It never worked with my kids either. They just ended up more tired when we went back.
