to book at Sarasota as I am in a wheelchair? I will be taking my two grandchildren 11 and 8(well behaved) alone. Good bus service? Plz advise.

Do you mean Saratoga Springs Resort?

If so, the buildings are spread out, but there are elevators. You could ask to be near the elevator.

Can't help you with Sarasota, if that's what you want.

You could also ask to be in the Springs area which is near the Artist's Palette and gift shop. The Springs is right across from the pool.

It's actually Saratoga Springs. Here's a link to the wdwinfo.com page about it.

We have stayed there 5 or 6 times and found it to be a very nice resort, although it is big. There are paths to go from one area to another, so if you can go distances in your wheelchair, you will be OK as long as you are not in one of the real far away areas. See this map.
One thing to be aware of is that there is a rather steep incline to go from the pool area up to Artist Point/shops, etc.

The buildings are quite large and do have elevators, as was already posted. The elevators are close to the front of each building, so if you are toward that back, it can be a long way.
The main pool has a zero entry, so you can roll right in with a water wheelchair.

The buses can be full if you are riding at peak times, but not usually if you are going at other times.

Ty so much for the maps and info. It is a beautiful resort!!! OH ty for deleting my message!! So since I need to be close to buses and elevators and do not have to have a roll in shower which building would you recommend? I also appreciate the incline u told me about. love:littleangel:

Well, again, all buildings have elevators, so there's no specific building recommendation based on elevator need. There are several bus stops throughout the resort, so "close to a bus stop" is a good request. "Springs", which is near the main building and main pool, is good, but popular - and keep in mind, requests ARE merely requests.

The one time I stayed there, I ended up in the Paddock section - "E" on the map Sue linked. I don't recall the room number, exactly, but see the label for rooms 5101-5436? Well, my room was under the "6" on the first floor. It was an easy roll to and over the bridge (although I did get discombobulated trying to get out of the pool area!). There's a bus stop just to the right of the building, and a pool, playground, laundry room for the studios right at the end of the parking lot.
