Do You Think the Characters Should Stay on the Castle Spires?

I really like the characters that circled the spires of Cinderella's Castle during the 50th anniversary celebration. They were a great addition to the castle and I would like to see them stay. What do you think?

I completely agree -- the mirror didn't work for me as a long-term thing, but the golden characters and bunting were so festive and cheerful! I would have loved it if they had decided to leave them up permanently!

I'll have to admit, I really liked the gold. Gold makes pretty much everything look good.

I would be happy to see them stay. Props to WDW for coming up with something that actually enhances one of their icons.

I thought the castle looked beautiful in general with all the gold accents, but really liked seeing the characters up there. I would love to have my kids see it the way I did for the first time, but alas.....they wont be able as it will be all gone by May.

I did like them a lot, but just like the time the castle was a birthday cake, when the celebration is over the castle should return to normal. I also would like the normal epcot ball back, and please it would be nice to walk into MGM and see the chinese theater instead of the hat.

I'm glad they are gone. It was nice for a celebration but I think the castle is beautiful all on its own.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Perhaps they will consider putting the characters back on for another celebration. I don't think Disney throws anything away.

I have to agree with the mirror thing. It just didn't seem to match with everything else.
