Some people just insist on standing near the fire even though they have watched good people get burned in the past. I just don't get it.

Edited to add: I'm sure this won't be answered but is there a reason WHY you aren't posting on the CB anymore?

Don't ask "WHY", just be thankful..........

You do realize that there are actual real human beings inside of those costumes don't you?

Just a question, don't hammer me for it.

*High Five, Mouseteacher!* You can say that again! :thumbsup2 ::yes:: I'd like to see a little honesty as well but that might be asking too much this day and time.

It never ceases to amaze me. This whole topic is worse then the Energizer Bunny commercials. It just keeps going and going...and going....and going.....

Yes, he knows it's real human beings in them. He likes to pretend the mice are real. Sheesh! Haven't you been paying attention at all?

OT: BTW, I did see a real pretty hammer in Lowe's last month. I immediately thought of you and LOL. :rotfl: My DH thought I was crazy. I also LOVE your poochie picture! :goodvibes :cloud9:

That's class my amigo...pure and simple. Your comment is welcomed and appreciated. Obviously your family/parents are caring and well-mannered individuals, passing along the basic rules of life/bible to you at an early age. But, the final decision to follow such morays has been yours, and yours alone. You deserve all the credit for your own behavior. Anyone recall a little thing called the "ten commandments?" There was one in there along the lines of "do onto others...etc." which is synonymous with the FC threads and subsequent nonsensical comments leading to drama/closure.

You hit the proverbial nail on the head, and the true gist of what the unfortunate DIS MODS have been trying desperately to get across for years now. It's like they pound their heads against the wall, trying to be impartial and fair to all. I'm always amazed at their restraint, and numerous passes/warnings to some not-so-deserving individuals. Not everyone enjoys every post/poster--and has the option to ignore or pass, rather than post/comment. If everyone would simply adhere to these basic rules, Tim's posts on the DIS would create little/no drama. Life for the mods, and everyone--would be much easier. :goodvibes

It's the same people who clearly cross-over the boundaries again and again, unable to fight the urge to sling mud. Sad...but true. The names are the same, again and again (on all forums and topics). The new search mode makes it a little more difficult for such pot-stirring folk to keep-up their "game" but they still prowl and stalk, searching for any topic with FC'S name on it. Clearly and sadly, maturity does not come with age as many of these people are well into adult-hood (which never ceases to amaze/confound me nonetheless). :sad2:

I agree 100%, and then some. There would be no "drama" in response to ANY of FC's posts, if people would simply respond in kind. Either "make nice" or move along. It's easy. It's simple-simon. Follow the rules of this forum, as well as the rules of life. :confused3 Like a verse from an old REO song, "If you're tired of the same old story, ah baby turn some pages." So, "turn the DIS page" if you do not enjoy the poster, topic, etc. No one is forced to comment, or read anything.

No need to behave in an ill-mannered fashion by posting something sarcastically biting or nasty. Tim is not harming anyone in this community with his posts and photos. He has just as much "right" to post what he deems important and newsworthy, as the rest of us clearly have. I have enjoyed the relative "calm" on this thread, and the kind, sincere, and genuine responses from most all DISers. :cloud9: :thumbsup2

I enjoy photos from all DISers, and the time they take to post them for others to enjoy. It's basic courtesy, consideration and compassion for another human being. Again, kudos to you and all others for behaving in such a positive and kind manner. You deserve all the blessings bestowed upon you in this life. I hope they continue to find their way to your doorstep. :cloud9: Enjoy them! ;) :flower3: Random acts of kindness are more than commendable, they are contagious.

DreamFlight99, that was VERY VERY VERY Well said    Thank You, Thank You, Thank You    DreamFlight99, you are awesome and I am very happy to have you as my big sister

Really?:confused3

The Ten Commandments
You shall have no other Gods but me.
You shall not make for yourself any idol, nor bow down to it or worship it.
You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God.
You shall remember and keep the Sabbath day holy.
Respect your father and mother.
You must not kill.
You must not commit adultery.
You must not steal.
You must not give false evidence against your neighbour.
You must not be envious of your neighbour's goods.

awsome.

Rule #1 in proving a point, be able to back it up, not make it up.:thumbsup2

I know I could skip his posts and I know I could ignore them, but like others have said, it is too much like a train wreck and you just have to watch.

Hey, here's the bored little :stir: again! :rotfl2:

FWIW, she was referring to the Golden Rule. It is also in the Bible (NT), just not one of the commandments in the OT, it supercedes the Ten Commandments, if you believe in the Bible.

I'm not bored. I was just looking for your posts, because they're just so wonderful!

I would never expect such of you Aisling, as we all know only BORING people become BORED -- or accuse others of such an ailment (thus projecting and justifying their own need to stalk/follow others around a public forum). :confused3 :lmao:

But...deeming her posts "wonderful" is just a bit too generous and kind for my taste. You are so loving. God Bless your pure heart. We could all learn a thing/two from you.

Pondering this for a new signature line...what do you think Aisling?

Hey FlowersChild, just wondering if you were in the World around January 26-28. I saw someone who looked just like you on the boat to MGM one day.

Absolutely. Makes me think of a little ditty which goes something like this:

I see trees of green,
Red roses too
I see them bloom
For me and you
And I think to myself,
What a wonderful world

I see skies of blue
And clouds of white
The bright blessed day,
Dark sacred night
And I think to myself,
What a wonderful world

The colors of the rainbow,
So pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces
Of people going by
I see friends shaking hands,
Saying "how do you do?"
They're really saying
"I love you"

I hear babies crying,
I watch them grow
They'll learn much more
Than I'll ever know
And I think to myself,
What a wonderful world

Yes, I think to myself,
What a wonderful world

I see trees of green,
Red roses too
I see them bloom
For me and you
And I think to myself,
What a wonderful world.

Yes, I do...each and every day Mouseteacher. The glass is still half-full in my life, and the blessings are still counted over any shortcomings or misgivings. There is no room for hatred or animosity, only pity and prayer. I keep on praying for those who do not see the light, and are embittered with vengefulness for one peculiar senseless reason or another. Hell bent on projecting destruction of others, to off-set their own shortcomings. It is both sad and disparaging, and a no-win situation.

So I continually bend a knee, and give thanks for my blessings while asking the Lord to be generous and sprinkle some their way. Hopefully, they will "open their heart and accept it" before it's too late. They are welcome to hate me, but I will never hate them. Life is too short, and there is no room for such a waste of time/emotion. Besides, it goes against my grain and religion. Everyone with any shred of sense knows such hatred is a poison which only eats at the one harboring the venom, never the intended victim. It is not as the Lord intended. :confused3

Nice to know you are still the same, and have not changed one iota. I would never expect anything less. :goodvibes Take care. :cloud9: Enjoy each wondrous day to the fullest, as the glorious gift from God which it is~! :goodvibes

:lmao: Imagine how frustrated they are!

Search, I tell you, search! Mush, mush, like a pack of sled dogs! With all the sniffing you have to do with the search feature inoperable, I wouldn't want to see what your noses look like! Well, maybe I would.:thumbsup2

Thanks Lulu...it was indeed a GOLDEN Rule~! At least it was in my bible teachings...which I have never forgotten. Sadly, in their quest and haste to criticize and condemn, some just can't see the "forest for the trees" (and thus miss the point entirely). :confused3 There's no sense in even correcting them, as they will never understand anyway. This is the curse of condemnation. Is the "finger-pointer" actually perfect in some manner? I thought everyone was equally born of sin, as we are all God's children. Hmmmm. Some must have come a "different" route during their birth? LOL. ;)
