We've been hearing about insane crowds all year. Do you think that next year, since the promo for "free" tickets actually requires people to DO something that the crowds will be less?

Are they going to offer the crazy low price on the southern cali annual pass again? That seemed to be a lot of the problem this year.

I honestly don't believe the excessive crowds have been due to the free birthday celebration this year. I think it's due to the overselling of local AP's and allowing monthly payment plans on those AP's. So for that reason, I don't think we will see much, if any difference between this year and next year's crowds.

So they are going to do that again? Boo.:headache:

I voted worse, but even if it stays the same, that means crazy crowds like never before seen during:
-Late June
-Late August/Early September
-Late September
-October

Something needs to be done about the AP problem.

WOW!:eek:They do payment plans on AP's?:confused3 Is this only for the locals? We live in washington so we wouldn't of course, be considered local.:sad2: We might visit disneyland more if we could make payments on the AP's.:)

I am an AP so is my family, I paid full for my AP. It is just for the locals. With more of the socals AP monthly payments, the resort got more crowded with locals.

I have heard that later during the day, when it is almost full, they don't let anyone in the park unless the guests have a hand stamp for them to re-enter the park.

I have gone three times this year and they have been all busy. (June beginning of Summer Nightastic, August before the blockout for socals AP, and September during D23 Expo).

Its going to get worse when WOC premiers next year.

I also agree on what you said about the monthly payments for the local AP, it needs to be attended.

I think the crowds have been due to the Socal APs AND all the new attractions they are starting. World of Color starts next April and that will bring out APs and ticket tourists alike.

Upgrades always bring in the crowds. That combined with the MP on AP's makes for not so magical visits for non locals sometimes.
