Unfortunately, the run around you got is more the norm than the exception. Every state has a web site for their state legislature. Do a search for Worker's Compensation and you should come up with the info you need. I am filing a grievance with my union because I wasn't given all the information I needed when I was injured. These laws are here to protect all of us. Good luck- and start documenting every phone conversation you have with company officials, physician's offices, and insurance reps. Keep a log of when you called, what was discussed, and what action, if any, resulted from the phone call. Let us know how everything turns out!!!
