Do you think I can get this?

Will I be able to get BLT lake view Sun Dec5-Fri Dec 10th for a studio? We are booked at our home resort now but want to switch over at 7 months. I know I have no chance for standard view and don't want to spend the points for MK view. If we don't get it I will be very happy to stay at BW or BC too. Just curious because I would love to stay at BLT while it is still pretty new.

well..I just looked at the availability board and it looks like no availability on the 5th (maybe that will change)..as a matter of fact it looks pretty busy all over the 1-5th..We were originally going the end of Nov through Dec 3rd..glad I changed.

A lot of people are getting LV villas at BLT at the 7 month mark. Since you have already booked your home resort, it sure wouldn't hurt to try and get the BLT rooms you want. If it's not available, you could also wait list those dates.

That is a very busy time for DVC and then general rule of thumb is to be happy in your home resort. You may be able to get it if you waitlist.

Agreed! With the lower points, the Holiday decor, the parade taping, and the Pop Warner groups booking up several of the value resorts, this is one of the few times a year that I book at the 11 month window and always glad I did!

We are waitlisted for the weekend of 12/4 for a 1BR LV. Couldn't get our last two days so as of now having to switch over to SSR those 2 days.

A friend of ours tried getting a studio LV the weekend before (a few days after the 11 month window) and could only get MK view.

My guess is it is not going to be available but you can waitlist.

I think you have a good chance, but it might take a waitlist. No problem since you have an acceptable back up.

Since sales of BLT seem to be going well, the developer probably will need to declare more inventory into the condominium so that will be in your favor. I think it will be easier this year than in future years for that reason. (We got a 1 bedroom standard view at BLt at 7 months via the waitlist for the week after Thanksgiving last year. I attribute that to the brisk sales and add'l declarations).

Of course, you will call as soon as MS opens (9am Eastern) on the first day your window opens.
