free dining again? My DH said we could go again in 2007 if they offer free dining again. I am hoping and crossing my fingers.

I'm pretty sure they will. It's been a good way of bringing in people during an otherwise slow time and they've already done it for two years I would be surprised if they didn't do it again in 2007.

i think they will probably do it! But i am staying away if they do! haha!! i learned my lesson this year :teeth:

I sure hope so!! That's looking to be the only way DBF and I could go in 2007. Around what time did they announce it last year?

It's already been offered to those who were staying on site recently if they rebooked a trip for next fall while they were still on vacation. It's also been offered to UK residents.

I'm wondering if it will be offered to the general public, and when the starting date of free dining would be. The two above groups had different dates for their promotions.

Last year's free dining promotion was announced in late March/early April, so we might be waiting a few months to see if it will be offered in 07.

I have a trip planned for 9/08, and I hope that free dining will carry on!

I'm not willing to make a guess this year. They've already offered free dining to UK residents and to folks making a return trip -- I think they could very well simply offer it to specific targeted groups and NOT offer it to the general public as a result. I wouldn't count on it or count it out.

since they have already offered it to returning guests and UK guests, I am beginning to wonder if they will offer it to the general public again. While I hope they do because we had a wonderful time last year using it, I'm not keeping my hopes up for it.

How packed was it during free dining last year? Did you have to wait for hours to get something to eat? Was it worth it?

You definately needed ADR's. But it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

ADRs were necessary. All of our ts meals had ADRs and I saw people without ADRs being turned away. As long as you plan ahead with free dining, you'll have no problems getting a seat at a restaurant.

YES YES YES ADRs were a MUST and you had to do it a head of time if you were NOT flexible.

HOWEVER once we arrived and ate at a couple of our ADRs we did a major overhaul of our schedule and i changed soooo much! We were making ADRs in the AM and STILL getting into character meals! BUT there were some things we didn't get. It's all dependant on how flexible you are ::yes::

I'm not sure if they will offer free dining to the general public or not. Since the UK guests have had the offer for some time now and the return trip offer is just ending, I'm sure the bean counters are crunching the numbers as we type.

Who knows it's all speculation at this point they might offer it to the general public or they might only offer it to a target group like they currently are. I guess it might depend on how much activity the target group is making.

I would plan your trip regardless budget for the food and if free dining is offered again have it be a nice perk to save some money!

I'm thinking I might call disney and see what they have to say~What do you think?
