Was wondering how many schedule your shore excursions for Nassau before you leave or wait until you get on the ship. ::MinnieMo

We did it before we left. It was one less thing to take care of when we got on board

We are doing the dolphin encounter and I heard it can fill up fast, so I am booking now.

I would book as soon as you can if you are sure about what you want to do. Things book up fast.

We did the Dolphin Encounter and was told that there was limited space available, so we booked before hand. Glad that we did, because there were a lot of people who also chose that excursion.

I just faxed in our parasailing excursion on CC to be sure. One less thing to worry about now!

One of the excursions we wanted to take was sold out 60 days before the cruise.

We reserved our Blue Lagoon Beach Day before we left home. I like the fact that you don't have to pay for it until you actually take it. That way, if the weather is bad and the excursion is cancelled you won't have to fight to get your money back!

I haven't decided yet, but i am thinking of doing our definites at least, i hear some book up fast.

then the ones we are unsure of i guess i will decide on the ship

I booked ahead of time last year and it was so nice not to have to waste time standing in line at the shore excursion desk. And man was that line longgggggggg!

How far out can you make reservations & who do you call, TA or DCL? We have never cruised before & are going in May on 3 day Wonder. My 12 yo & 9 yo son & myself are hoping to do parasailing!
Thank you in advance,

I would recommend booking at least some excursions as early as possible. Certain excursions like parasailing on CC almost always fill immediately. Other excursions, like beach days, have tons of open slots and do not fill as fast.

My recommendation is that if there is something you really, really want to do (like parasailing, dolphin encounter), I would book as soon as possible.

Can't remember the cancellation policy but you might want to check that out.
