Do you ride anything during HHN?

During HHN, I usually don't ride anything (unless I'm with people who want to ride).

from what scareactor friends have told me, it is based on specific times.

for example: first team (A) out will be on for a designated time, say 45 minutes.
replacement team (B) is lining up to enter the house around 5 minutes before team A set is over.

scareactors stagger going in for their place in the house.
this could take 10 minutes for all team A to leave and for team B to be in place.

after team a has their break/rest, the system begins again for their return to the houses.

i am just using the above times as an example.
sometimes team b will open the house, other times A does.

that scheduling is up to the officials that are in charge of hhn houses, etc.

i have seen the teams line up many times for the houses.
they walk to the houses in single file and stay in character.
they stagger entering the house and they're in position as smoothly as possible.

if you enter a house and have been in it prior, you might notice some scareactors are not in places where you saw them before.

if this is during a time where the teams are switching, they might not be in place at that time you are going thru.

things change throughout the entire hhn season.
could be changes in the houses with more or less scareactors, scripts, backup scareactors change for a night, etc.

when i see the teams lined up for the switching of cast, i still go thru the houses but time it so i have a better idea of when to return.

what i posted is not etched in stone.
things change all the time.

I basically knew that. I just always see posts from people saying how they thought Cast B was better than A, or vice versa, and never knew how they knew which was A and which was B in the first place. Unless you have a friend working that house, I don't get how you'd know which was A and which was B when you saw a shift change in the middle of the event. You might go through the house twice at different times, but it's tough to really know if you truly saw two different casts or not. Maybe it's easier for houses like the Friday the 13th one a few years back that had so many cast members with minimal make up. But for something like the Legendary Truth house last year, where most people were in masks, I'd have no clue if I saw two different casts if I go once at 6:30 and again at 10:00. I'd notice if I was in there during a shift change, when there is nobody in certain scare areas, but that's about all I'd pick up on.

I can't tell which team is which. I did notice the different scareactors in the SAW house in 2009. Two different guys in the chair with blades in the face and two chubby guys crawling through the barbed wires. :thumbsup2

Hey mac,! I remember the first time I saw a team entering a house. I think it was Doomsday in 2008, and they were in character! I shivered when I saw them, single file, and looking creepy as always! :scared1:
