I have received 3 texts inquiring why I have not rsvp'd to Natalia's bridal wedding event.........

I don't know Natalia.

I don't know the number the text is coming from.

I don't know anyone in the state the text is coming from.

Think I should continue to ignore or answer and say you have a wrong number?

Since the have texted you 3 times I would just respond wrong number, that way they don't keep texting you. If it was just once I wouldn't bother, but if it mutilple times for I would.

I've never received a text (I rarely text anyway) from someone I don't know.

If I did, I probably would text back that they had the wrong number/person.

I wouldn't respond, but only because I've received a text something like that. It was from Alberto, and when I texted, "You have the wrong #" he flipped out and started texting all kinds of crazy stuff and then called my phone. I wouldn't answer but he wouldn't stop calling and when I did answer and said, "OK...." he started screaming that I had his boyfriends phone and he was cheating on my and he would find out who I was blah blah blah.

I told him that was fine, since I had already found his home address online ( and gave it to him ) and that I was forwarding it to the police because he was obviously a moron and didn't know his own bf's phone number.

He texted me again, to apologize and say he DID have the wrong number. Ya think?

This was about 3am on a weekend too.

Make sure it is not an international number before you respond. T-Mobile charged ME the text messaging fee for responding to a strangers text. I just just trying to be helpful and I got punished for it... Not cool.

i only got a wrong number text once on New Year's Eve, i just asked "who is this?" and they replied with some name i didn't know and i said "sorry, you got the wrong person"

i got the wrong number call twice from some woman who thought i was her daughter and was SCREAMING at me thru the phone both times. i finally told her "i don't know Jessica and if you call again i'll call the cops"

I'd ask for the address and then show up and eat all the food!
:lmao:
I have received texts saying "Hi, (someone's name that isn't mine)".
I usually just text them back and say they have the wrong person!

I just ignore wrong number texts and they figure out quickly they have the wrong number. If they already sent you 3 texts, I would probably just text back wrong number.

:rotfl: I've gotten a random text saying "So what did your mom say??". I just said "Huh?" and they said "Oh, sorry, wrong number!" LOL

To something like that, I would reply that they have the wrong number.

Shortly after I got this phone number, I got this text from a local number:

Hey [name], [name] got out about 2 months ago he wanted me 2 call n give u hes # if u wanted it text me back.

I did NOT reply to that text! :rotfl: I really don't want the number of someone who (presumably) just did time!

I got an inappropriate text the other day which came from a number that looked just like DH's. He does not text, so it freaked me out a little bit, but it was not him I texted back a two character text so they knew they got the wrong # and I hope they don't text me again.

I've also texted someone who it was not intended to go to. I just hoped they understood that it was an accident :)

Got one the other day:

Monica, this is Bryan, save my number

Me: Bryan, this is not Monica, good luck.

Don't need luck, just sheer will and determination!

Me: And the right number :)

I have recieved a couple one was a Happy Birthday to someone, and yes I did reply back saying wrong #

Sometimes I do. I guess it depends on what the text says and if it is a local number or not. :goodvibes

I usually text back "wrong number" so they know and don't keep texting me.

I started off ignoring them and then, after getting the 4th or 5th one (not in 1 day...this was over several days), I finally responded, "Who the hell is this?" Turned out it was some guy I'd met in Vegas and had forgotten ever existed. Oops.
