before Christmas I asked for some help on what to buy for my DW because she wanted to start scrapbooking?

Well, I went to Wal-mart and some other places and spent about $100.

Well, guess who is hooked? ME!!!!!

I know this is a girly thing, but to me it is very relaxing, and theraputic. I am not that good at it yet, but I do like to do it once in a while.

Thanks for all the help

Scrapping is not just a girlie thing.

Granted there are not as many men out there as there are women but we have a quite a few guys that frequent my LSS. One of the guys is a train engineer and scraps his train experiences. He has some really fabulous pages. Another is big time into sports and scraps them. There are a few high school guys that come in to get supplies to scrap their high school years. I recently met a guy that just got out of the Marines. He bought the Marine corps album. He also inquired about beginner classes. We also have another guy here on this board.

Don't hide it, flaunt it.

Excellent!
It is a wonderful hobby! And what a nice spin on it to come from a man's perspective! I know there is another guy on here who just started to scrap! Just can't remember his name!
Enjoy!

Scrapping is not just a girly thing! This week I took apart my photo album of our first trip to WDW. Just last night as I was working on the scrapbook of that trip, my husband offered several neat ideas. He has a much better feel for color than I do. Eventually we'll do a scrapbook of him growing up :)!

I often ask my son's opinion - he has a great eye for color, but is really good at shape relationships. Guess that just might be why he wants to be an engineer (not the train kind!) :p Although I doubt at this stage he'd actually do the scrapbook work he is great at giving me ideas.
