Did anyone own a GE Light Show Set in your Christmas decor? They were all the rage during the holiday season and what made these sets special was you could plug in your holiday decor from your Christmas tree to your Christmas lights and when you turned it on an amazing magical musical light show would play and it reminded me of The Osborne Lights Show when I first saw these sets in stores. Mom was enchanted by these sets as well and bought one for our house's Christmas decor. And not only did it have Christmas music you could also do a Halloween light show with Halloween music for Halloween too

I think the reason why these Christmas light show sets became all the rage was after people had started seeing Christmas light shows at amusement parks they thought they could use the same effects for their Christmas decor at home and when GE launched these sets they became a giant seller for Christmas every year. My grandma used to decorate her Christmas tree with musical Christmas lights and my dad and I thought it looked amazing and I think this is where they got the idea to invent Christmas light show sets because people always wanted to have their own light shows for Christmas. Even today you don't even see these holiday light show sets sold in stores every year so I guess they got out of style
