Aloha,
Last evening, Ohai and I rewatched Barry's tape of the 2/02 MG meet. (Mahalo again Barry for the tape) Although the tape has more roller coaster shots than I like (since I am such a big coaster fan
) and not enough people shots as I wish
it is still a great way to start the memories. Poor Ohai did get to go that time
but I had a good if cold time.
I thought I would catch up with everyone I met. I am still the same, although I chopped my hair short and since surgery, I don't have to wear glasses all the time. Still working and trying to figure out a way back to Orlando (and bring Ohai this time too
) Last year medical problems ate up all our extra monies, so this year I am hoping will be the year of the VACATIONS!
I remember what a good time I had at the meets. There were some firsts for me, going in the back door at Earthquake; eating roasted garlic cloves; going inside the Dragons (but of course not yet riding it); staying concierge at HRH; and of course meeting so many of you. I still have the pin Renee and her DH made for us and all the pictures I took of our meet (wish they had been videos). I was so happy to be able to meet with so many wonderful DISer's and often wonder how everyone is. So how is everyone?
Aloha
