Do you remember a ride like this...

My husband says he went on a ride at one of the parks in Orlando but he cannot remember what it was called or what park it was in. This is his description:

You walk through the ride, like an archealogical dig, with egyptian type things on the walls you have a guide with the group and then the guide gets lost and the group is on its own for a while.

If anyone has a clue, please let me know

My husband is a little disapointed that it is at Universal rather than WDW because we are doin' Disney this December. Thank you very much for the information, he was driving me a little trying to remember what it was.

How long ago? I remember going to Story Land in NH as a child. They had a mine and the tour guide took you aroung and then he disappeared for 5 minutes. There we different tunnels you could go down. I was 6years old and was terrified..

It's not Egyptian themed though - and my girls hate the elevator ride!

The tour guide "leaves" for a while on "The Great Movie Ride" and comes back when you are in an Egyptian Temple-looking thing. You aren't walking, though.
