Do you recommend confirming reservations

I've never confirmed ressies - I just take the confirmation along that MS sends me...I've never had a problem.

Never have and never had any problem but always bring the confirmation letter anyway!

These vacations are just too important for something to get screwed up. I always call, about three months and again, a few weeks ahead of time to confirm the ressie. It doesn't hurt, the MS people don't seem to mind at all. I call after their lunch or very early on a Wed or Thurs, never on Monday because they are mobbed for people trying to make ressies for the 12 and 7 month window on Sat, Sun and Monday.

I always confirm my ressies about 3 months before and a week before, and I take my confirmations.

I always confirm our reservations. There's never been a problem, but it can't hurt to be safe.

Never bother to confirm DVC but always bring my written confirmation with me. However, I always confirm flight times with airlines. On several occasions, I've had departure times changed WITHOUT any notification ......

Just to play it safe ,I call MS 1 week before and bring our written confirmation with us. and like EROS said ,
I always check our airline ressies a few days before we leave.
