Do you put milk in your jello?

CT girl here, and don't nock it until you have tried it. As a kid that is how we would eat our Jello (but only the red kind). I actually added milk to jello a few month ago and you should have seen the look on DH face. Made me feel nastalgic.

Oh and heritage is Italian, Polish and German.

Now I have the urge to go make Jello

Jello with milk was a staple in our house when I was growing up. For all those that haven't tried it, well, it's your loss. It tastes great. I haven't had it in years, but, only because I forgot about it until this thread. Now I must have some.

Another of my fathers favorites, which, of course, became mine, was soda crackers crumpled up in milk like cereal. Oh, yea, and a sandwich that I, in my extreme youth called "Bread and Barr and Catsup togarr"! Bread and Butter and Ketchup Together!

When a teen I discovered, I don't know how, that I like Sandwich Spread (like a Mayo/Pickle combo) and Peanut Butter sandwich. At the same time I discovered that if you use Peanut Butter, Fresh homemade Strawberry Preserves and Fresh from the garden Tomatoes, that also makes a good sandwich. I still do that one from time to time.

I was wonder though...to those that cringe at jello and milk... to any of you eat snails or squid? Just saying.
