do you put christmas inflatables up....?

No, but the neighbor's inflatables tend to get blown into our yard a few times during the Christmas season.

I currently put out a number of inflatables and my giant Hannukah bear is my favorite. That being said, I'm not a huge fan of them. I shifted to them because they are cheaper than metal figures with lights, it's a far simpler electrical approach, and they're easier to store. On the flip side, they don't have the same kind of curb appeal wow factor as a display that's strictly lights, they damage our lawn, and they're unsightly when deflated during the day. They're also a little too prone to tears (even my better ones) and motor burn out. Sure, metal light pieces can get burned out lights, but that's easily remedied by just stringing a generic string of lights through the metal frame to keep the figure in the display. Before we moved to our current house, I used to do a display entirely of lights...Christmas tree forest with all kinds of figures. It was so pretty, but It was a nightmare to put up and even more of a headache to store. Moving it was a hard no because of space, but it was so beautiful.

This was last year's display. Not sure how much I will do this year. I may just do lights or do one inflatable in our front flower bed and be done with it. I have some of my Halloween inflatables out there right now and I'm just not feeling it anymore.

This was the previous year's...right before two of the inflatables died...including the Mensch on a Bench I went to great lengths to acquire.

2020 right before Santa and his sled dogs died. Also the year I tried fairy lights in the windows. Royal pain, but so pretty.

No inflatables here. We really don't like them, I have to say. We do put up lights and other decorations in the front windows and the little garden spot under the windows.

Nope! They seem a bit tacky to me though my little grandkids enjoy their display!
We go more simple and traditional with a manger and lights on the front bushes.
I don't enjoy taking it all down so the less I put out, the less work on Jan 1st.

We do not, but there is a house in our neighbourhood that has an entire army of them. It can look cute at night if that's your thing, BUT, during the day when they're all deflated and laying on the grass, it looks like a bizarre holiday-themed massacre has just occurred. Kind of unnerving.

I don't but my daughter is always begging me to buy some.

We have several neighbors that put different ones up for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas and leave them up and running 24/7. I always wonder how much their electric bill is.
