My DH is the pin trader. He collects just pins he likes but his main "collection" is Disney mice other than Mickey and Minnie (Cinderella's mice, Rescuers, Great Mouse Detective, Timothy Mouse from Dumbo, etc..). :)

I voted Yes though it is actually my son who is collecting/trading. I do enjoy helping him find stuff though.

He is mostly into the action hero type things - Buzz Lightyear, Power Rangers, Incredibles, Star Wars. He also likes Stitch (his favorite character) and the princesses (he plans to marry Cinderella :teeth: ).

He did the pin exchange here on the DIS, and he did a little trading this past weekend when we were at Disney.

Same here DD is the trader I just supply the money and the means.

I do have 1 pin of Jack standing on the curled mountian from NBX.

I voted no to pin trading because I can never actually get myself to part with them! I collect Tinkerbell pins but will spend forever finding the perfect one that isn't at every store or is extremely limited. Then even my cheapies that I intend to trade become my little pin babies and I can't trade them. But I do look at CM lanyards and the 4 times I had the courage to let one of my babies go and trade, the CM's have given them to me without trading. Maybe it's look of depression/anxiety that comes over me that they feel sorry for me. :teeth:

Yes, I just got into trading in December. I have really gotten into buying on ebay (talk about addictive!!!!)

Right now I am working on a map of Epcot and MK with my boys with all the attractions that we love. I am also working on building a nice collection of POTC and HM pins as wells a Figment and Chip & Dale. I plan on making some nice shadowbox display cases for each collection with a combination of pins and other things pertaining to each theme. (I should get them done just about the time the boys are taking their own kids to WDW :rotfl: )

I only collect Tink pins. The sweetpea collects a variety of things. They all have special meaning to her though. Neither of us can seem to part with any of our pins though. We love them to much.

yes - although DD8 does most of the trading now - she collects Tink and some Pooh. I sold the Disney store set on Ebay - back in 2001? - I have quite a few left over and they make great traders for her.

I collect a little of everything...holidays, Ariel, wizards, jesters...too many things....I started out back in '91 just getting trip souveniers - then went crazy...now I am back to mainly trip souveniers....

:wizard:

I collect Mickey pins and hotel and attraction pins the most. Other than that the pin has to be really cute or something that grabs my attention. I have a few scrooge McDuck pins and one set of Pooh pins that I really liked. I had started on Sleeping Beauty once, but it was just too much so I just have a handful of those.

I voted for my DD. I personally don't trade, but she loves it.

She mainly collects Stitch, but she's working on villians too. Particularly Chernobog, which there aren't a lot of.

She told me she wants to get every Stitch pin, and I told her there's not enough money in the world for that!

Disney pins are like legal crack. :teeth: Yeah, I got hooked a few years back, and while it's cooled significantly since it's heyday in 2000 and 2001, I still can't stop myself from browsing eBay looking for those really hard to find CM and LE pins. :smokin:

I do collect a bit of everything, but started trying to focus on the CM pins and Stitch, mostly. DD collects the princesses (duh! ;) ) and DW is a bit of an Eeyore fan, so we stick to those (mostly) now-a-days.

I like Eeyore pins. I'm a little picky and only own a few though. My DS8 collects anything and everything....no specific theme. My DS12 collects goofy pins :wizard:
