Do you pay off package a little at a time or all at once?

Usually all at once on my disney visa so I can get the points and six months free financing.

We pay Disney in several smaller chunks - 3 for our trip last year, but 6 for this year's trip.

I booked my trip July 2006 for August 9th-19th, 2007 for a choir convention. Paid $200 by credit card. Made $350 monthly payments to an ING account for 6 month. Prices were released to the convention body in April 2007.

Having airfare, room & DDP paid in full by February 2007, PRICELESS.

I paid the $200 deposit on my Disney Visa and just made final payment the same way with the intention of paying it off before we leave in 43 days:cool1: This way I was able to recoup about $15 on my rewards card. Every little bit helps. I figure this will pay for that first Lapu Lapu:)

After I book I make payments up until the 45 day mark. It is easier for me this way. If I put it on the trip right away then I can't spend it somewhere else etc and I feel better watching the balance go down!

We pay it off as soon as we book it. We prefer to book later rather than earlier and almost always within 30 days before we go. So the cash is there and we've got it out of the way and won't have to pay any bills later.

We usually book 8 to 12 months in advance to ensure we get the room we want. We also use a code when they are released in the first quarter of the year which is why the booking time-frame varies. We always go on a 40% discount.

We usually pay off the trip in 5 equal installments so that the remaining 3 to 7 months we just put that amount of money in a savings account which gives us extra spending money.:cool1: :thumbsup2
