My family and I will be making wonderful memories in DW Feb. 5th thru 10th. Are the lines long enough to use Fastpass?

We went that same week last year, and just returned tonight for our trip this year. We go this time of year to avoid lines.

It seems that this year was busier--In january--amazing I know.

We used Fast Pass one time this last week---I think we used it once last year also

The lines were pretty low this week--longest was the Thunder Mtn. OTher than that they werent passing out fast passes---from what I remember last year, they were passing more out, but noone was really using them!

Enjoy.

We went last year in Feb. during Mardi Gras week and we had to use FastPasses for some of the attractions. This year Mardi Gras  happens to fall the same week you are going. The crowds during this time of year are managable.

Have a nice trip

My experiences this time of year are that when the crowds are super low, they close the fast pass machines.

I get sooooo excited basically walking onto rides! I hope this happens for our next trip, but I am not counting on it since its Mardi Gras week. However, we will be at MGM for Superbowl Sunday and I am sure it will be a light day, so I hope we will be able to catch more shows than usual (since hopefully we wont have to wait in line so long)

You may need to use it on a handful of occasions. However, I don't think it will be too often. Looks like your going to be leaving shortly before the crowds start to arrive.

Nah, you won't need them. Just leave 'em for my family. We'll wave to you in line as we board the ride. Kidding. See ya there.

We still use them for the slow loading or most popular rides, even during Jan.

We've been mid-Jan a few times and still used them for the bigger rides where there are still line-ups.

We will be there just about the same time as Max (Feb 5th to Feb 12th). I thought that was the time that the Madi Gras people were there, although would be happier if not,as we planned the trip for this time of year hoping to miss the crowds. Is it correct that we should be leaving (Feb 12) at about the time they (Madi Gras people) are arriving? Don't get me wrong, Im sure they are great people, just hoping to avoid any larger crowds than normal.

Nope, sorry, you'll be there with us! MG is Feb. 8 (tues) and many people arrive the weekend before and stay the week. We're there Feb 6 - 12.

You may need them for the "mountains" (except splash if it's colder) and most likely Test Track. Other than that, you should not need to FP for anything.

If you are going during the Feb vacation week (Feb 20-26), all bets are off.

We used fastpasses a few times last January. The fastpass lines when we got there were pleasingly short.
