Do you need to bring your own bowls/cutlery/etc if you have breakfast in your room?

We are going to stay at CB and are plannig to have breakfast in our room before leaving early for the parks.
We have already planned a grocery stop and made a list of all the items to get, when it hit me about whether we need to bring our own bowls, cups, spoons etc for all that???
Will the resort provide those and if so where do we ask? Or do we need to bring our own?

You do need to bring your own bowls, spoons....there are a few cups in the room each day. We have stayed at CBR many times and LOVE it...Have a great trip!!

You can get cutlery and napkins from the food court. You will have to provide your own bowls and plates.

As the others have said, you need to bring your own. The CB does not provide for in room dining. You will have a few water glasses and coffee cups and that is it.

I find it easiest to bring it all. I bring a few cheap plastic bowls and kids cutlery from Dixie or such so it is sturdy, but I don't worry if it is left behind. Small container dish detergent. Roll of paper towels is great for napkins/drying.

We bring our own plastic bowls and a box of cutlery (.50-.75 on sale)

I bought a bag of sponges from the dollar store. Cut them in half or quarters. Poured 1 tsp. of dish detergent on each and let them dry out. Then packed them in a sm. ziploc bag. When you are ready to clean up your dishes, simply wet the sponge and clean you dishes in the sink.

Great Tip!! Thanks:thumbsup2

Most assuredly. The items in the food court are for the patrons of the food court. If you purchase cereal at the food court, you should be able to use a spoon from there. But if you don't, you are not entitled to the items in the food court.

When needed, we get disposable plates, bowls and utensils. Don't want to wash dishes on vacation! :goodvibes

I would say yes, unless you normally sip your cereal from a juice glass!!!LOL!;)

I usually pick up disposable bowls and spoons at the grocery store in Orlando. It works great!! We loved CB! Enjoy. Just a tip, when you check in, request a room near the foodcourt. The resort is huge and it was nice to be close. Have a wonderful trip!

I got this tip from a friend. Bring a cheap bag of utensils and buy plastic disney bowls in the gift shop. Then you can use them during the week and bring them home as a souvenir. We just returned and they have super cute bowls that are plastic, clear with mickeys in red, yellow and blue. They are adult size cereal bowls. Ours were $5.00 each. We've used them everyday since.

We've brought our own also. On top of bringing disposable plates, silverware, etc. (who wants to do dishes on vacation, but that's just me) we've even brought the toaster along. We're toast fans what can I say. Oh yes, and we also had to bring our own peanut butter and homemade strawberry jelly. :) Happy Travels!!!

The small snack size boxes of cereal are made to where you can eat them out of the box. You just open the top, pour in the milk and eat them with a spoon. If you don't feel comfortable taking disposable spoons from the food court, you could always bring your own.

Now I am confused (it doesn't take much) we are staying at CB in a villa in September. We are renting from a DVC member and when I asked her if we needed to bring anything like dishes or silverware, she told me that there are plastic bowls, plates, cups and silverware. Did she maybe misunderstand me?
We do have a grocery store stop on our way from the airport and we can pick them up, so it's no big deal, but I just want to make sure if we need to buy them or not. We just want to be able to have breakfast in the room for the grandkids.

Uh oh.....I think maybe you have a wrong abbreviation. The Caribbean Beach resort does not have villas. Exactly where are you staying?

If you're renting a studio villa then they have plastic plates and silverware. If you're renting a 1 bedroom villa or above then they have all of that stuff in the kitchen. It's real plates, silverware, etc. too. Hope this helps!

There aren't any villas at Caribbean Beach Resort. Could you mean Beach Club Villas? And if you are in a studio, you will have a microwave, toaster, undercounter refrigerator, paper plates and bowls, a few mugs and glasses and disposable knives, forks, spoons.
