Do you need Fantasmic Dinner Package in early Nov.?

We have never been to WDW in early Nov. Usually we go in July, when you definitely need the Fantasmic Dinner Package if you don't want to wait an hour to get a seat in the theater! I'm assuming crowds won't be like they are in July, so is there really a need to get the package?
