Do you need an ADR for tea at the Grand Floridian?

I really want to do a tea with my daughter, but the only day I really have open is the day we check in to W. Bonnet Creek. Of course check in is at 4:00. If we get into our room early enough then I'd have time to go. Every other day I either have a big breakfast or dinner planned so I think there just wouldn't be room for the tea. :(

Worse case scenario we can go another weekend since we don't live that far, but I'd rather go when we will be there for a full week.

Yes you need an ADR most of the time. The room is not big and there isn't much seating.

I second the need for an ADR. Why don't you go on one of the days you have a breakfast planned, and make it as late as possible? Then you could just have snacks if you were hungry later. That's what I would do.

Yes you need an ADR, but it is a lovely way to spend an afternoon! I would second the recommendation of doing it one of the days you have a big breakfast and get one of the last seatings, then get a light QS dinner in one of the parks.

Okay I made an ADR for 4:40 but I noticed it ends at 5:00. I wonder if they will rush us to leave at 5?

No, I don't think they will. They just have to cut off the ADRs at some point. If I remember correctly, it took about an hour for the different courses.

You will have a great time! I did tea time with my mom :} and we were so impressed with the relaxed atmosphere, the knowledge of our server in helping us choose a type of tea and we never felt rushed.
