Do you miss the clubs?

Can never go wrong with boots & suits.

Personally, I'm more of a denim boy.. but then I'd own a pickup if the fuel economy wasn't so bad.

That just leaves the question of a cover--what sort of hat graces yer noggin'

Oh I do love me a cowboy hat.. but they do make me look .. well... There is no polite word to use. Let's go with.....

Not good.

So I tend to stick with yer standard issue ballcap/trucker hat.

That and a # 3 across the top and military fade on the sides haircut. (that's a new thing)

Wow - I am very impressed with y'all's knowledge of the CrossRoads!!!
Andyjohn1 - I am sure our paths crossed as we joked we were stockholders at JR's- SueEllen's and the Village Station. (When ever someone says 'it takes a Village" I think "No it takes a Village Station.") The Village Station is now the S4 but the Round Up is and forever probably shall be the Round Up.

I stopped going out in the Mid-Ninties after I hit thirty. It was like Logan' Run. I was dead to anyone under thirty. But really I stopped going because I couldn't TECH'NO more. If you been to one smokey smelly bar, you've been to them all.
I still listen to the music cause, I don't drink coffee.

The only club I would ever go in to again is the one at PI and Club G.ood A.s Y.ou in London. G.ood A.s Y.ou is a mind blower.

Oh - one more thing did anyone ever go to Baby's or the Stark in Dallas?

Haven't been to Dallas in a few years--are they new? I don't recall the names, and I...well...got around while I was there.

No They are no more -
They were clubs in the 80's and 90's. Baby's was the place to be on a Wednesday night.

And the Stark was "the club" to be at during the 80's and 90's. It was a red rope/club kid dance bar. I think it was owned by Grace Jones and Stevie Nicks (really you can't make this stuff up) Your hair had to be jacked up to the next millinium with product or you needed a drag queen on your arm to get in. Every night was halloween. It was pre-"Club One".

I remember the Stark club, but I don't recall Baby's....I lived in Dallas from '87 through '00....although I didn't hit Sissy Springs all that much the last 2-3 years....unless you count happy hour on Friday nights....geez....now i'm more of a John L's type of guy....or the piano bar before Moby's....or that place behind Zippers....can't think of the name....but more quiet, mellow is what I would go for now....IF I WERE GOING OUT!
