do you make your itinerary in blocks that can be inter-changed?

depending on whether you want early or late morn hrs?

we're not planning on early mornings (I'll be lucky to get DS to the parks at opening 4 of our 14 mornings never mind earlier!) and we are planning on lunch PS in those 4 parks so I'll block those off to not be changed

planning on 4 of 14 late nights, using what seems to be ea parks late night - however if the days are changed I can just change these around - not planning on dinner PSs in those parks so it makes it easier to change

so do you scheduled in interchangeable blocks?

We aren't itinerary people....I log which parks open early and we have a PS a night 2 evenings but other then that we just do what we want when we want...

No itinerary for me either. I prefer to be spontaneous on vacation, not follow a schedule. :earsgirl:

I plan to a point.. I made a dinner, lunch and 2 breakfast PS...and when a park has evening EMH I want to end up in that park late that afternoon (doesn't mean I will though!). But besides that, I just go with the flow.

I'm going to do something like that. I will have PS' made for every day we plan to be in a park b/c my dad will be with us and he has severe food allergies that need to be planned for. BUT ... under each day I will list a couple of alternatives that will work e.g. the second best recommended park, the best place if it's raining etc. Then if we change our minds about where to go I'll just call and see what PS I can get for that park (if it's a park we switch to).

I also thought I'd do a master list by park of the attractions we absolutely don't want to miss and cross them off each time we do one. That way we can be flexible over the course of our trip and still be able to know what we have missed and therefore what we need to do in the last couple of days. We'll be there for 11 - 13 days (not decided yet) so there is no need to follow a strict touring plan other than to make sure we have a place my dad can eat safely every day. This will be my parents' only trip, and we might not get back for years (we have other places we want to visit), so that's why it's important to make sure we do everything we're looking forward to.
