I've only used Windows Movie Maker once to make a video of my dds elementary school years. We watched it and it came out pretty good if I do say so myself. Now she's put the idea into my head to make one for our upcoming trip to WDW!

So now a few questions:

1 - Has anyone done this using the above named program?

2 - Anyone know of some better programs priced under $100? This one seems a little hard to work with - could be the user though!

Thanks in advance for any advice.

For making a DVD movie/ sideshows with my pics, I use a program called proshow gold. It has a good reputation and is extremely user friendly. I think it is $70. It has pan & zooming effects, lots of transitional effects and the ability to add text (also with effects) and music to your show. I am actually starting a small business doing this based on all the great feedback I have gotten on the shows I have made with this software.

I'm making a movie with Windows Movie Maker with our shots from various Disney trips. I'm using the song "Wishes" for it. So far, its pretty good.

I use this program, it's called Momento, very easy to use, they have a free express version with limited options or the full version for 49.99.
Here's a link to a slide show I made with Momento, I had to split it into 3 parts though, the orginal that I burnt to a DVD is much better quality wise than what is posted, looks great on the TV or computer, I even tried it in 3 different dvd players and it work in all of them.

I just started playing with the movie maker in Adobe Photoshop Elements. It seems pretty user friendly. Just one problem maybe someone can help with...I can't get my video clips to be inserted into the slide show. I always get an error. :confused3

Other than that, it was easy to transfer the pictures into a slide show, add music, and make the transitions to each picture.
