What kind is it and where did you buy it? Is it pre-lit and easy to assemble?

After cleaning up a HUGE mess from a real tree, I'm in the market for an artificial one.

I wouldnt say "I love it" , it dont keep me warm at night

I do love mine. I got it from my parents when DH and I got married 10 years ago. They had it about 8 years before that. It looks so real and it has lasted such a long time.

I love ours. We got it last year after getting a puppy in Nov. Our old dog used to love the reals trees, but one year took the realism to far for me (still have the mark in the carpet to prove it.) Now I've got a low maintenance tree with branches strong enough to hold our many special ornaments and the dog is only mildly interested in it. I love having one less thing to stress over - no watering, no needles, no "when should we buy, when should it go" - we put it up the week after Christmas and will take it down when we feel like it. When I miss the smell, I light my evergreen Yankee Candle!!

I LOVE my tree! Got it at Sears last year. It's a Black Forest Spruce, prelit with white lights, and I think we paid $179 for it.

yes - I LOVE my tree. I bought it several years ago at the after XMas sale at KMart. It's prelit with white lights, 7.5 ft tall, and is a piece of cake to put up and take apart. We paid $75 after XMas. Looks realistic, someone actually thought it was real last year because I had a pine candle burning LOL!

We will never ever have a real tree.

Good luck in your search! I have had my eye out for a 9 ft or something similar for upstairs but haven't had much luck - 7.5 ft seems to be standard.

Check at Target within the next few days!

I got ours at Target a few years ago. It's a prelit tree with white fiber optic tips and I just love it. It's so nice that it really doesn't even need to be trimmed.

But they have (or had) all kinds in all sizes. I like real trees but this is so handy.

like our tree- we bought it at HObby Lobby when it was 50% off....not lit (dh doesnt' mind putting on the lights & this way we can change from colored to white if we choose).
After cleaning up the mess from a real tree that FELL over a few years ago we bought the fake - & dh still bungeed it jsut to be safe! (have a lot of nice ornaments that are quite heavy)...

Hate my artificial tree. It's eight feet tall, takes forever to set up and take down. And as an added bonus it cuts the heck out of my hands when I'm putting the lights on.

However, it is really beautiful once it is up. And it was my mother's, who died one week before Christmas last year.

Guess it's a love/hate thing.

I love my artificial tree! After paying 80.00 for my last real tree that was it! I have the same tree as ChrisnSteph. Prelit one from Sears! Had it delivered right to the door. A snap to put up...3 easy pieces and then we decorate!

Yep! That's the one! It's beautiful, easy to set up, and is very full. Just hook the three pieces together, and fluff out. It looks like the real deal. It's very bright when lit, but you can put it on a dimmer to tone it down if it's too much. Here is a pic of mine decorated:

I got mine at Garden RIdge a few years ago. I do love the way it looks. I'm allergic to real trees so if I want one this is the only option I have. :)

We've had a 7' prelit tree (500 lights) since the 2000 holiday season and really like it. I got that one at Lowes after Christmas 1999 for 50% off. Eariler this year (Feb) I bought a 7.5' prelit tree (800 lights) on eBay for $60. Went to set it up this season and half the damn lights did not work. So, yesterday I bought a 7.5 prelit (800) lights at sears.com for 50% off. We really want a second tree (1 for the front room and the other for the family room. ::MickeyMo

We got a white one at Garden Ridge this year(or old one finally bit the dust.) i wanted white lights, but the kids wanted colored lights, so it looks like a candy tree. It's very pretty.

DH had wanted a real tree but the kids were raised on artificial, so they insisted on the fake tree. Good thing we did--someone sent us a beautiful balsam wreath and when we opened the box, DH's lung seized up and he nearly stopped breathing :earseek: Ack! He is highly allergic apparently, so my beautiful wreath has been relegated to an outside space where it delights the neighbors and can't harm DH. Lesson learned!

I love ours. I got it this year at target the day after thanksgiving. it is 6ft and prelit. We have to have an artificial tree as I am allergic to the real ones.

Yes I do! Dh got it 13 plus years ago.

It is little, 4 feet, and one piece. I keep all the lights, garland and ornaments (unbreakables we use with the girls) on it and just add a trash bag. Very easy!!!!

I sneeze at fresh trees so I couldn't have a real one even if I like.
