Do you lose ADR's if you cancel resort reservation???

I'm looking for the definitive answer. I have done a search and seen two completely different opinions on the matter.

When I called to make our ADRs, I entered in my resort reservation number, and then made all my ADRs with the CM. So I assume by this that we have our ADRs "linked" to our resort reservation. (By the way this is a room only reservation, not a package or anything.) I did receive separate confirmation numbers for each ADR.

So my question is, if I cancel that resort reservation, do I or don't I automatically lose my ADRs?

Thanks in advance!

CRO told me that you don't. I had a reservation at WL through CRO, found a cheaper rate on Expedia, and called CRO and cancelled my reservation with them. I told CRO that I was cancelling the room only and not my ADRs. The CM said that the only way dining would be cancelled was if I reserved the dining package. Otherwise, my ADRs would be a separate thing and not connected to my room only reservation.

I also was told that the ADRs don't cancel if you cancel your resort. Who knows? Maybe a friend offered you a place to stay at the last minute, so you no longer needed hotel reservations? That's what the CM told me as an explanation. So when I cancelled resort reservations (No, no one offered me a place to stay-the trip was cancelled), I had to call Disney Dining to cancel my ADRs. However, at least when I did, they were able to cancel all the ADRs during that time period with one click.
