Do you live in the same state you were born in?

Well, I don't technically live in a state, since I live in Washington, D.C. -- but I'm very close to the state I was born in -- Maryland. Live in New York when I was in college and grad school, then lived in Europe for a couple of years and came home to Baltimore. Also had a brief stint in Cancun before settling in D.C.

Well, after a long hiatus I'm back in the state where I was born--Michigan! I was gone for 20 years but moved back in 2001. I lived in Germany for a bit then in New Mexico for about 18 years. Now I've bought a house five minutes from my parents' home and DD attends the same school I did. My dad was in ill health and it was just too hard emotionally to have to fly back and forth and not be there for my parents. I'm actually enjoying being back which was a little surprising to me.

nope. i was born in california. i grew up for the most part in new york. now i live outside of dc.

Nope! Left NJ 15 years ago to live in FL. Just moved to VA last month. No plans to ever even return to NJ for any reason!
