Do you listen to live radio anymore?

If I'm in the basement doing a craft project or a jigsaw puzzle, I do. I listen mostly to the local alternative rock station because they have actual DJs, which is becoming rarer and rarer.

Yes! Sometimes satellite radio is the same thing over and over again. And as a voice over artist I do like to listen to newer commercials to keep on top of things.
It depends on what stations you listen to. On Satellite radio I stay away from the top 40 stations as they are the same as regular radio. Play the same 5 songs every hour. I listen to the sports stations, the Beatles channel and the 80s station with some others mixed in.

Yes, when I’m in the car. In the AM I listen to Elvis Duran, and in the PM it’s either pop radio (RIP to KROQ in NY *yet again*) or the local news/traffic/weather. I find 1010WINS oddly soothing.

I listen most of the time in the car (but sometimes will bother setting up Spotify or Audible on my phone) and occasionally in the kitchen (but usually use the TV for background noise instead).

Since I got SirrusXM in all the cars a few years ago I rarely listen to live local radio. I also have Dish Network and Sirrus XM is there too, listening to it now. Sad since I am a retired TV and Radio Guy. I don't stream anything.

There's really no reason to listen to commercial music stations at this point. I find it hilarious when people started posting that their local radio station began the switch to Christmas music and how excited they were. Christmas music streams online 365 days a year. How excited could you really be?

In my car it's the easiest option for short trips/running errands. It's a 2007, no Bluetooth, no satellite radio, and a 6 disc CD changer.

I have an AUX cable to hook up to my phone and listen to streaming stuff through there, but it's a pain to plug in and control (only via the phone, which is illegal while driving here). It gets annoying when I'm running errands and constantly exiting and reentering my car. It's too much hassle to keep hooking up the phone, taking it out, etc. The radio is just easier.

Haven’t listened to live radio in years. Once loony drivers started appearing far more often, I decided I needed to be extremely vigilant when driving and didn’t want distractions.
Also, I’m older and want to be more careful.
