I absolutely HATE mine, and after 2 visits, I am changing Doc.'s! How about YOU?;)

Will you be changing to Dr. Carp? :p

(I adore my doctor, but I had to go through a few until I found him! He's an absolute gem! )

Yes, I do. He takes his time with his patients. :D :D

I have YET to see him, always get the PA. But I LOVE my rheumatologist. Unfortunately, I had to go out of network to find one that would help me and knew what he was doing.

I LOVE my family doctor! She's the best. If you're sick, you can call her office and tell her your symtoms or if it's something you've had before and you know what you need she'll just call in your prescription for you so you don't have to make the trip to her office. And when you do go in to see her, she takes the time to talk to you and get all the info.

My OB/GYN on the other hand...I like him, but he's not as great. I mean, he's a really busy guy (as I'm sure most of them are delivering babies every day) so he's in and he's out and that's it. But he was great when I was pregnant with DS. When I got to the last couple of weeks of my pregnancy and I was feeling so misrable (I had really bad hearburn constantly for the last four months of my pregnancy) he offered to enduce me a couple of weeks early. That made me feel so much better.

So both my drs are good and nice and I really like them both :)

I like my ob/gyn in Boston so much I'm trying to figure out how I can keep her, even though I live in central NY now! LOL! So hard finding someone you like, isn't it? I love my son's pediatrician, and now that we are moving from Syracuse to Albany I am stressing already about that one.

Yep! Our family doctor is also a close, personal family friend, so that helps. :) :) :)

My doctor is a bit of a plonker, he recommended antihistamines to my sister to buy from the chemist because it would be cheaper than a prescription. When she went to the chemist they told her the thing he recommended was only available ON prescription.

He always looks like he has been dragged through a hedge backwards.

I absolutly ADORE my doctor. I started going to him when I was 19 years old and pregnant with John-Cole. I am now 31 and still go to him. He was amazing when I first started having panic attacks....I've my stubborn self had gone to him about it sooner I wouldn't have suffered for so long. He is terrific!

Do I like him? I adore him! And like Snoopy, I had to go through a few to find him! (my Primary Care Physician)

Every time I've had an appt. with him, he's taken a minimum of 30 minutes with me! I guess it helps that we both have the same breed of dog, because we often talk about our Weimaraners!

He's never given me the impression that he was hurried, and I've been to a few that never had the time to chit-chat, heck some of them rarely make eye contact!

I like my G.P. very much, as well as his 2 P.A.'s. They are just perfect for me.

I adore my OB/GYN. He was so supportive during my high risk pregnancy & so kind. He was absolutely wonderful, calming, reassuring & again so supportive in the delivery room & I would recommend him to everyone. (Oh, & he's handsome too but don't tell my DH I said that!! :teeth: )

Of course, now I am not sure if I will continue to see him as my GYN for my annuals because we attend the same church (& same service each week), he is my son's Cub Scout leader, our boys play basketball together, our kids attend the same (very small) private school together (so we see each other often at school functions) & we have mutual friends & keep running into each other! It's just sort of embarrassing!! Hmmm...what to do? He really is the BEST!

My doctor is very low key and easy to get along with. He never acts like he's in a hurry, and always spends a few minutes asking me about business, etc. His office staff get a little surly sometimes, but they are probably just overworked.

I love my doctor. I had to do a little searching to find him, and I'm glad I did. I'm someone who believes that our bodies are made to do their jobs and that traditional medical treatment is only necessary some of the time, and he agrees completely with me. He's a big advocate of a good diet and exercise rather than prescribing a bunch of stuff to fix all the problems you got from sitting around eating junk food. And he's very supportive of nursing, which is surprisingly uncommon among some doctors.

DH and I use the same General Practicioner and he is wonderful! I have never had a doctor like him. He is incredibly thorough and takes so much time with you. Sometimes I have to wait quite a while after my scheduled appointment but I know he is giving someone else the same kind of time he gives me so I don't mind at all. We also joke that he is a mind reader. If I am going with something specific in mind to ask, he will ask me something about it before I even have a chance to ask. I told DH if our insurance changes and he isn't in our "network" I don't care, I'll pay extra so we can continue to go to him.
