Do you like those Haunted Houses?

I'm just about to drive my DD and her friends to one of those Haunted Houses. I'm sorry, but I could NOT go into one of those things. I hate people jumping out at me, and if they're wielding chainsaws that would definitely give me a heart attack.

Do you like them?

I'm not a big fan of them, but my BIL owns one - so we go to it every year! My DH and two teens, however, love it and can't wait!!

Oh Gosh! I love them!! I love having the crap scared out of me!! Well there was one I didn't like but the people dressed up were actually allowed to touch the people going thru. I didn't like that a bit. But as long as no one can touch me then I'm all for it!!! I wanna go to one now. It's been years!

They're ok. They don't scare me. All the ones I've gone to, I've known the people doing it and I've spent a majority of the time trying to see who all I knew (just in case those that told me they were going to be in it chickened out) and if I could recognize them.

NO! Cant stand them! Im not afraid of much, but I have this crazy fear that some sicko will dress up and sneak in and have a real axe or sword or whatever.

I think they are a blast. I do scream, but not out of "real" fright, more like pent up excitment, if that makes any sense at all!

I don't like the ones where they touch you or chase you. I once went through one of those when I was in high school with my head in the center of a friend's back. I just planted my head in his back and pushed him through the whole haunted house. Monsters kept grabbing at us and I was freaked out.

I love them! I've been to two haunted theme parks so far this year and hope to get back to one of them on Halloween itself. DH doesn't like them at all though and has managed to avoid going so far.

Well, as a follow up - DD and another one of her friends ended up chickening out and going to Arby's while the other girls went in the Haunted House. I guess she takes after me more than she'd like to admit.

LOL, it was a great way to get close to your date. I was always a scaredy cat, but went anyway. I haven't been in a long time.

I like them, but I am not usually scared...DW gets annoyed with me saying "Hi" and trying to strike up a conversation with the gouhls.

Last year we went to Fright Nights at US/IOA and they had some really cool haunted houses. I will say this, it got to the point that we knew if we walked int an area with fog in it, then we knew someone was going to jump out at us with a chainsaw...there must have been over a hundred of them in the park.....
